Paulina Ewa Majchrzak is a PhD student at Aarhus University. Her research focuses on the electronic properties of quantum materials and micro-fabricated devices. Her experimental tool of choice is angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy extended to ultrafast timescales and micrometer length scales. Before coming to Denmark, she obtained a Master’s degree in Chemical Physics from the University of Edinburgh. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a year as a placement student in the Artemis user facility in Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxfordshire.
The prize committee will select a winner, who will be announced at an award ceremony at the KIF Annual Meeting on November 16th, 2022 taking place at Hotel Nyborg Strand, Østerøvej 2, 5800 Nyborg.
The winner will be notified in writing in advance and invited to give a talk following the ceremony.
