Paulina Ewa Majchrzak is a third year PhD student at Aarhus University. Her research focuses on electronic properties of quantum materials and micro-fabricated devices. Her experimental tool of choice is angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy extended to ultrafast timescales and micrometer length scales.    Before coming to Denmark, she obtained a Master’s degree in Chemical Physics from the University of Edinburgh. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a year as a placement student in the Artemis user facility in Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxfordshire.

The committee will select a winner, who will be announced at an award ceremony at the KIF Annual Meeting on October 13th, 2021.

The winner will be notified in writing beforehand and invited to give a talk following the ceremony.
