PF Stars and Kvinder i Fysik invite you to a special World Space Week event with Mariann Albjerg, who spent 30 years working on NASA’s Space Shuttle programme.

During her remarkable career, Mariann spent ten years in Mission Control and was involved in around 50 shuttle flights. She worked with scientific experiments carried into space and later held senior positions at NASA, including Flight Integration Manager for the Space Shuttle programme and Technology Development Manager at NASA’s Earth Science Technology Office.

On 8 October, Mariann will share stories and experiences from three decades at NASA – from the early years of the Space Shuttle programme to the scientific missions and people behind human spaceflight.

Join us for a fascinating evening with someone who witnessed, and helped shape, an extraordinary period in the history of space exploration.

The event is organized by PF Stars in collaboration with Kvinder i Fysik. Attendance is free, no registration is required, and everyone is welcome.
