Amira will take us through her journey into physics and beyond – from studying quantum and computational physics at the Niels Bohr Institute to building a career in tech. Today, she works at Microsoft, helping companies use technologies including AI, IoT and cloud solutions to turn ideas into real-world applications.

Along the way, Amira will share her experiences of finding her own path, navigating the transition from university to the private sector, and how the problem-solving skills she developed through physics continue to shape the way she works today.

After Amira’s talk, there will be plenty of time for informal networking and good conversations. Whether you’re a student, researcher, working in industry, or simply curious about different career paths in and beyond physics, everyone is welcome.
