Join us for our next networking event on April 27th, where we’re excited to welcome the inspiring Rayssa Bruzaca de Andrade!

Rayssa will be sharing her journey in science, her work in quantum technologies, and her passion for making STEM more accessible to everyone.

Rayssa works as a Team Leader in the Quantum Systems group at NKT Photonics, developing advanced fiber laser hardware for cutting-edge quantum applications. She holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of São Paulo and has carried out postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Denmark, where she explored quantum sensing using squeezed light.

Beyond the lab, Rayssa is deeply committed to outreach and representation in STEM. She is an active role model with High5Girls, inspiring young girls to pursue careers in science, and she also co-organizes QBrazil, an initiative promoting quantum technologies within the Brazilian community. She is also part of YATSI, a network dedicated to connecting and empowering the next generation of Danish STEM innovators.

After Rayssa’s talk, there will be plenty of time for informal networking and good conversations. Everyone is welcome – come along to connect, get inspired, and meet both new and familiar faces!
